Being a fan of horror and vampires I thought that a novel about the Marquis De Sade being a vampire had promise. I was shocked This book spins a story line through S&M soft porn. It is crazy. I like horror for horror sake. Have you ever seen the bride of Frankenstein? That was horror and no sex. Holy Crap no sex. It was a good movie HOLY CRAP no sex. Why why why must writers today fill every page with sex. I am not against sex I enjoy sex I have four kids derived from sex. But is this book about vampires or sex? Its funny at one part the Marquis De Sade refers to other that drink blood as vampires. Well then what the hell is he? This book could be done so so so much better if there wasn't so much sex. And yes I am a Man so don't think I am a fridge old bitty. I know that there will be those who will say that vampires and sex go hand ans hand. Remember Nosferatu please any women that thought he was sexy needs to see an eye doctor. Bela Lugosi play what was considered for its time a very sexy vampire no sex. After all when you watch a vampire flick are you watching it for vampires or sex ? Because if it is sex you want I would suggest renting a porno instead. I am sure you will see more sex there then in a vampire flick.
